Wondering where to go next on your path toward wholeness? Consider the Center for Sacred Studies Ministry Training Program, a two-year on-line course of study.
The Center for Sacred Studies Ministry Training Program is one of the only ministerial training programs to incorporate a variety of indigenous spiritual practices and earth-based ways of prayer. Members of The International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers are featured (in the Grandmothers Corner), along with instructors from our staff and allies.
The next class begins May 1, 2009. The two-year on-line program consists of 22 monthly modules, four breathwork workshops, and two five-day retreats held on-site in Northern California. Each full-time student has a Mentor, and there are two hour-long conference calls per month: one with the instructor, and one with our Spiritual Director, Jyoti. Upon completion of the program, you can be ordained as a Minister of Prayer with the ability to support others at marriages, births, deaths, and other transitions of life.
We offer two options for enrolling in the Ministry Training Program: (1) the full two-year course - $2750 per year ($5500 in total); (2) the Auditing option - $1100 per year, $2200 altogether. The Auditing Option has reduced requirements and does not lead to ordination, but auditors have access to all the audio and video content. Flexible payment plans are available.

 On-Line Community and Annual Retreats
The CSS Ministry Training Program seeks to create an on-line community for each entering class, through its Mentor program, conference calls, and frequent communications. The interactive learning environment allows students to communicate with each other as they study the audio and video material.
Every year in April, each Ministry Training Program class gathers in Northern California for a five-day on-site retreat. The Annual Retreat (for full-time candidates for ordination) allows students to integrate what they have learned during the year, and builds strong connections among the students, mentors, faculty, and staff.
